Dear Santa...
Can you believe 2009 is just a couple days around the corner. It's been a great week since I been on vacation for 14 days. It's been awhile since I was able to take some leave. I have 70 days on the books so why the hell not! With the marathon complete I am able to jump back on my bike and start riding again. There has been a lot going on with me and don't know where to start. In March I am flying to Washington D.C. to run the National D.C. Marathon with several of my Coast Guard buddies. I am looking fwd to it and I have enough time to train properly.
Some of you might have heard rumors about me being picked up by a new team on the island. Sponsors and uniforms are being finalized, I will make the announcement once we have everything etched in stone. I want to thank Tradewinds (Atomman), Pac Velo (Mike Z) and some other QR riders for the generosity for offering me to be a part of your team. About 6 months ago I made this decision but didn't know who I was going to ride for. The chips fell in place and I want to thank EK and DL for making me feel welcomed. I look fwd in representing you in 2009.
This morning I joined Casey and Dev for a nice Hckam to Barbers Point ride. As the fond memories of the old days soon became reality once more. It was a fast ride and everyone did their share of work (well 2 of the 3). We got to Barbers with no issues and enjoyed the pre Christmas ride. Thanks Casey and Dev for a great morning ride. It's been a great ride this year and I will be posting a end of the year video after Christmas. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!Dear Santa,
I know you are very busy but please get my favorite elf some Zipp 1080's for Christmas! Please leave my ice scrapper glove at your workshop. If you see my buddy Jeff rolling in the snow, no worries, he probably was drunk and fell off his sled in Alaska. Please get my buddy Casey some new socks too! Im afraid if he washes anymore it will fall apart. My other buddy Steve needs more beer in his fridge, I drank most of them the other night over dinner. Please get me more Pledge as Maya enjoys ice skating on the kitchen floor. She's getting pretty damn good. If you have anymore Ipods, please drop one off to my nephew! They are starting to get costly, I got 2 of my nieces one this year as well as myself. Dev and Jeff also got one so no need to drop one off to them this Christmas. I'll leave some Endurox R3 and Cliff Bars on the kitchen table for you tonight. Please don't take my Hammer Gel since it's all I have left... Ho Ho Ho!

Since you've been a good little boy and stayed out of trouble I will be sure to visit your house first tonight.
ReplyDeletethanks for the letter to Santa about all your friends.
