ANOTHER BROKEN PART? GEEEZ!

Another broken part? But this time it's not mine! My buddy Casey just purchased the same wheelset as I. Mavic Krysirum ES is one of the best wheels on the market. In fact, Mavic makes a damn good wheelset and strong as heck! Last week Casey told me his bike was not shifting right. I put it in the stand and was confused that I was having a hard time getting rid of the clicking on the gears. After about 30 mins of scratching my head I looked at the cassette and saw it wobbling a little.

Hmmmm, I swapped the cog set out and his still wobbled. Ouch, $500.00 wheel not straight. He said he did drop a chain on the day we climbed all the hills. Good news is that he has contacted Nashbar and they sent out an replacement wheel. Why can't I be that lucky when I break all my stuff?

I cut back on my training this week after 2 weeks of overloading. Body adapted well and this week I will bring out the Cervelo Time Trial bike to get accustomed to the aero riding again. race season starts in 4 weeks! Hooorah!
