Today was the Hawaii State Team Time Trial (4 man) Championships. I would like to thank the Hickam Area Cycling Club (HACC) for outstanding performances. Most of all, I would like to thank my 4 man team of Steve Chirco (VA teammate), Steve Steele, and Casey Tucker. Without the 3 of them I could not have won a 1st place championship gold medal. You guys are the best!
Here are the HACC Team results from yesterday's race. I am trying to find out about State Championship Jerseys. In most states if you win your division in a state championship, you are authorized to wear the state championship jersey for that year.

I'll do a quick summary and more details to follow. The morning started bright and early as the winds were howling on the course. I was blowing so bad in certain sections that I could not stay in the aerobars. If you look closely at the coconut trees, you will notice that the palms and branches are blowing to the right. My Zipp 808 front wheel was like a magnet to the wind. The first half of the race, we were flying at 30 mph! We finished 6th overall and 1st in our category with a time of 57:30:00!Pics by Dave Andrews
