Decided to sleep in this morning until 0600. I got up with hopes to ride but when I glanced out the window it was raining. Most of my cycling team was already up at Tantalus getting ready for the uphil bike race. I decided to just sit back and have some coffee and watch the NASCAR race at Texas.In between commericals I was finishing the build on the replacement Specialized Allez frameset. Thanks to Momentum Multisport who had the Campy cable set in stock. I had some spare Mavic Krysiriums SL's in the washroom so I decided to use it on this bike. I was surprised that the bike tipped the scales at 17.3 pounds with Armadillo tires! I plan on bringing it out on the Tuesday lunch ride for it's maiden voyage.
On Easter Day I was invited to The Steele's for dinner. They sent me home with some Monkey Bread and ever since then I was craving for it. So while being multi tasked between bike build, laundry and the Nascar race I decided to bake some monkey bread. I couldnt belive how much sugar the reciepe called for! It did turn out great and feel guilty to eat it since I did not ride or race today.
