TEST FLIGHT, CHECKS COMPLETE

This afternoon I finally completed the build on the 2009 Specialized Transition. I took it out on an easy spin around housing less bike shorts and shoes. I was very impressed on the handling and feeling of the bike. The biggest noticeable difference is I felt more comfortable then my previous time trial bike. I was also very very quiet. The Campagnolo Record shifts were very crisp.
My body position felt more aero than my fit on my Cervelo. Back seems a little flatter.
With a little tweaking here and there I think that I can achieve a relatively aero position. I will be using this bike in the upcoming Hickam Duathlon. It should ride fast with my Zipp 808 front wheel and a solid Zipp 900 back aft. Thanks to the "Transition Groupie" who snapped these pictures .
