A NEW "TRANSITION" BUT A "QUICK STEP" INTO THE FUTURE
Finally I sold my Litespeed on Ebay so I can make way for the new bike. Somehow the cat was let out of the bag and I have gotten several emails about the new frame! It's a Specialized Tarmac SL2 Quick Step Edition" the mac daddy of the Specialized line. This model has so many features to list.
Check out the videos at www.specialized.com

I went down to the Bike Shop to put some mucho dinero down and Brandon and "Linky" put this puppy up on the scale. The picture above is not my bike but pretty much will have the same components.
This is my new frame hanging from the scale!

With the full frame, bottom bracket, crankset, seatpost, headset, and uncut steer tube this bad boy tipped the scales right at 5lbs on the nose. The 2,000 gram Sram Red (4lbs) minus the crank (630 grams) should put the under lbs without wheels. Throw on a set of Easton EC90's (1300 gram) wheels and should be able to tip scales in the mid 13's if I play my cards right.

I am taking my time but cant help the "Quickstep" into the future!
