RUN BEN RUN..

I pretty much thought the season of racing was over until... On Monday I got a call from my Command Master Chief (E-9) and said that he was making reservations for his trip to Hawaii in December. He runs marathons as his hobby and will be runnng the Baltimore Maraton this weekend and then the Marine Corp Marathon. This past June I convinced him to run the Honolulu Marathon. I didnt think he would sign up. He asked if I have been training for the marathon because he's looking forward to doing it. SHIT! Now I have to get my ass in gear and start training!

With a couple of weeks left, I am confident I can prepare to finish and not try to beat my best time of 3:20:00 several years ago. I hope that Jeff and Dev still plan on running so I have some training partners. Run Ben Run...
