After visiting Jeff Soots and Dev Andrews homes this week, I noticed how clean and green their yards are. I have been putting my yard in order since I moved in last December. The grass is finally green thanks to Scott's Turf Builder. I started phase one of Operation Green Machine". I purchased some flowers from the garden store and put them in today. Tomorrow, I will purchase the rest that will run along the fence and outside the back door. I did have some help from "Pedro" who knows way too much about gardening. He blames his mom for showing him the secrets. Jeff, Dev, and myself are so competitive that we have a lawn competition going... Well I think so!
Last week I got a chance to hang out with my 10 year old niece and my 5 year old nephew. Really, he's only 5 and weighs 85 pounds. He's big like his dad and will definitely play football when he gets older. With my new puppy on the way I have narrowed it down to 2 names. Maya or Cadence. I What you think? Sunday is the State Time Trial Championships and I'll post results and update of then race then.
I'd name the moggie "Attack" ... or "Chopper"... That'll scare the neighbors!
