And the numbers go... 6th - 4th - 22nd - 2 weeks Another weekend race in the books! For the 4th straight weekend of time trialing for me, my time confused me today. I picked up Dev this morning and headed 30 miles out west to the Makaha Time Trial. It was raining on the way out but the weather cleared up before the first riders went off. Dev experienced what happened to me last week and punctured a new $90.00 tubular tire which was cut by glass. I saw him on the side of the road on my way back at first I thought he was waving me down so as I got closer I slowed down and wanted to make sure he was okay. He kept yelling "GO" so I hesitated and then got back into my position. I may have lost 15 -20 seconds, but I always believe safety first. He looked okay and I pressed on.

I got back to the finish and was going to pick him up but noticed that he had the car keys! Auuugghhh! So another Cambio team mate, Noel Coagas, offered to take me to him. Thanks Noel! Dev had already caught a ride from someone so my Search and Rescue efforts were not successful today! Overall I felt okay but don't know why I rode slower than I should have compared to last week. Ended up 4th in my Category and I guess I should be content with finishing in close to 5th at each race.

Coast Guard Hono Kane Triathlon - 1st overall ( I did the bike leg)
Mokuleia Time Trial - DNF
Castle to Hanauma Time Trial -6th
Makaha Time Trial - 4th

So far I am having way too much fun this year!
