JUST SWAGGER ALL WEEKEND!

The weekend went screaming by! On Saturday I met up with Jeff, Jon, and Casey. We did several laps on base. Jon has never ridden on HAFB so we decided to stay local. It was a great workout and a nice break from racing since Feb. For a change, I got to sleep in until 0600. Speaking of sleeping in... Dev said that he was having rib issues from his crash several months back.

I made some changes on 2 of my bikes. I really enjoy the feel of my Roubaix Pro so I am making changes to the SL2 to match the measurements. First change was to lower the stem and cut the fork. Mel from The Bike Shop in Aiea hooked me up. I also want to change the Specialized cranks from 170.0 to 172.5 (which all my bikes have). Only issue is that Specialized uses an oversize bearing and will take some research to adapt to a SRAM Red crankset. Mel is looking into for me.

Next big change was on the Specialized Transition TT Bike. I ordered a new adjustable stem which allows me to get as low as possible in the aero position. I took it out for a few laps on base and I must say, my aero position is awesome! Back is way flat and achieved the best position I have had in 14 years! Now I just need to spend some time in that position for an hour.
